Galvin Elevator Construction: Fall Semester Begins

St. Ambrose University students returned for the fall semester in August to see the elevator construction in the Galvin Fine Arts Center and what has been completed so far over the summer. Since the last photo essay, the outside structure has made way for the electronics of the actual elevator shaft. Check out the progress below.

Instead of having students walk through the tunnel like in the summer months, students are forced to walk through the side hallway to get to the SAUtv studio.

Given the construction in the upstairs of Galvin; students, faculty, and staff are urged to take another stairwell to stay out of the way.
